The following poem is from the perspective of a person who is being stalked and constantly being watched with no escape.

why do you follow me? why’re you such a stalker?

i can’t hide, what do you seek?

validation?

why can’t you be your own person?

i can’t push you away

the situation will only worsen

is this poem just a dumb cliche?

do you love me too much?

but i hate your love

just stop trying to stay in touch

just stay away before i get rough

i walk,

I wonder,

i hide,

i cry,

you stalk,

you follow,

you seek,

and smile.

this isn’t a game,

i want an out,

i try to scream and yell,

and shout,

i can’t run,

i’m tired,

just walk away,

im really not that desired,

for im “just a freak”

oh dear shadow,

just what do you seek.
