Happiness. A term described as ‘the state of being happy’ in the dictionary. But is that really what happiness is? Some may say ‘yes’ others may say ‘no’. I believe that none of these answers are incorrect. Right to speech is something we all have. We are all different people with different looks, appeals, families, perspectives, views. so how can all these things about us be different and still have the same definition of happiness?

I personally believe that we all have our own definition of happiness and that life is a journey to find that definition. This definition is something no one can change. ‘Get a full scholarship, then you’ll be happy’ but I believe if that’s not what you truly want, then what’s the point?

People say that happiness is a complicated subject, I disagree. I think that happiness is something so easy that people won’t accept it. Humans are used to complicated stuff (like math ), at this point we don’t even accept that somethings may be simple. We are always used to doubting ourselves but why? Why do we try to please other people instead of ourselves? There are 7.8 billion people on Earth, each with different opinions and views. The hard truth is that, no matter what we do, we will always be judged by people. We can’t please everyone 24/7 . But the one person we can please 24/7 is ourselves.

So why do we try pleasing everybody and leave out ourselves?

‘To get something good, you need to go through a hard time’ A well known quote. But is it true? Why can’t we take the easy way out? Such quotes inspire people to take the harder way out, why can’t we choose the easy way out if it isn’t harming anyone? - Dear Zindagi (My mother's favorite movie :))

Side note: I recommend this movie, watch it when you have time!

Differences

What has the world come to? Black skinned and Brown skinned people bleach their skin to look white, so what if it is ruining my skin, ‘at least I will fit in’. White skinned people use chemicals to tan themselves; so, what if it’s ruining my skin, ‘at least I will fit in’. But what does it mean to ‘fit in’? Is it to think like the rest, look like the rest or be the rest. What if we all be ourselves? Then, our similarities, will be our differences.

What a wonderful world that would be. A world full of different people, beliefs and talents.

I call this world, the dream world which, we will see one day.

One day, one day…
